:?: Eco-friendly sports car on a relative budget? Is it possible?

My first product review is only a preliminary look — but I wanted to share my initial excitement with our readers! I’ll most likely follow-up with more information at a future date.

The review below is uncompensated — the car was purchased by Bessie and I.

 Special thanks to the following folks at Boch Honda (Norwood, MA) for a smooth business transaction:

  • Ernie Boch, Jr., Owner
  • Mark Doran, General Manager
  • Marc Heroux, Sales and Leasing Consultant

Here’s a brief rundown about our car:

  • Engineering is superb
  • Safety stuff galore
  • Hybrid using proven technology
  • 2-seater with hatch
  • 6-speed manual transmission (automatic transmission [CVT] is available)
  • Navigation with voice recognition, including for other functions
  • Bluetooth to integrate cell phone
  • Nice tight handling — wicked fun to drive!
  • 3 modes on gas consumption: economy, normal and sport
  • Gazillions of other features!

I don’t impress easily, but to me, this car has it all. I love the sensual body shape, reminiscent of the CR-X from the 1980′s. The hybrid technology married to a sporty 6-speed stick is a thing of beauty.

Below are some pics of our new puppy…

So far, so good — we love the car and highly recommend you check it out, if you are eco-conscious sports car lover on a relative budget. The MSRP on our model (top-of-the-line) is around $24k.

Be well…
